The Key Biscayne Lions Club is the island’s oldest service organization in continuous existence.
The Club plans and participates in a wide variety of service projects as well as the needs of the local community. Lions International, with a recent count of 2,000,000 members in 162 countries, is the youngest and also the largest of the international service clubs. Helen Keller addressed the International Convention on June 1925 and charged the Lions to be Knights of the Blind.
The Personal and Business Directory, published annually, is a unique community service of the Lions Club, providing a convenient listing of Key Biscayne residents and businesses, and is the Lion’s Club primary source of funds for charitable and community service activities. Additions to and changes in the listings may be made in this website.
“Ask the Lions Club” on Key Biscayne whenever there is a community need, people say. We are proud of that tradition. We hope that when the Lions Club calls on you that you will give your active support to our projects.
