Miami Gynocology – Jorge E. Mendia MD

Dr. Jorge E. Mendia went to Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology. He went to medical school at the University of Miami and did his residency at the Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami program.

Since 1993, Dr. Mendia has been board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of ObGyn and as a Fellow of the American College of Ob-Gyn.

Dr. Mendia began his practice at Mercy Hospital in 1991 together with Dr. Rolando De Leon.  Over the years their practice served the South Florida community in exceptional ways and grew into one of the premier group practices in the area.

After practicing obstetrics for more than 27 years, Dr. Mendia’s practice now caters to the gynecological needs of his patients.  He specializes in the care of women of all ages with a special interest in the non-surgical approach to care.
